Our Founders

Sharon-and-BillAbbey Communication Training was founded in 1992 by Sharon Nolan and Bill Reed, authors of the Business English Teacher's Resource Book. Their objective was to put the book's principles into practice, providing effective Business English training for corporate and individual needs: "The English you Need to Succeed".

They chose the small town of Malmesbury in order to benefit from an attractive location, a dynamic, friendly community and to maintain close contact with host families.

This formula has proved very durable and in taking the business over in 2013 we aim to continue in the same spirit. We are still in close touch with Bill and Sharon, who provide consultancy, quality audits and trainer-training.
